Prodigal Son: Yes, Another One. said...: Jolene! I haven't placed my electronic fingerprints on your post cards yet, So I HAD to make some time today to give you a few bytes of my mind. It's getting cooler here which is wonderful because it allows me to believe I live here. The heat from august and most of september was so merciless. Every day I KNEW I was a thousand miles from anything called home. I still miss the pine curtain so much BUT, I'm going home Oct 5, 6, and 7!!! I'll take a walk in the woods and think of your feet when I wash my toes in Lake Sag. I miss you!

Flight / Louis Jenkins

Remember this is a solo flight unencumbered by bicycle parts, aluminum and nylon or even feathers. A tour de force, really. There's a lot of running and flapping involved and as you get older and heavier, a lot more huffing and puffing. But on a bright day like today with a strong headwind blowing up from the sea, when, having slipped the surly bonds of common sense and knowing that she is watching, waiting in breathless anticipation, you send yourself hurtling down the long green slop to the cliffs, who knows?

You might just make it.
